The space is a feast for the eyes—a dramatic curtain with a larger-than-life painting of a woman sets the scene, while another depicts a bull, the Toro, making a striking statement. Situated 11 floors up, most tables enjoy captivating panoramic views.
The food reflects the spirit of the Americas, presented with style and artistry. Aromas are enticing, plates are visually stunning, and the theatre of service complements the glamour of the setting. Highlights include Crispy Prawns, the signature Lomo Saltado, and shared dishes that perfectly balance flavour and presentation. For dessert, La Bomba and the indulgent Toro Toro Tres Leches are not to be missed, while the Mercado Margarita rounds out the experience with a refreshing twist. The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Co and its official portal @restaurantsmalta.com has been a trusted name in Malta's dining scene for 25 years. The annual publication - The Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants in Malta & Gozo along with the website www.restaurantsmalta.com compiles results from an online diner survey documenting over 200,000 dining experiences and identifies the top 150 restaurants each year. The survey also determines the top 40 award winners and winners in various other categories. Each December winning restaurants are presented with commemorative plates and special awards during a gala dinner attend by over 300 guests.
In its efforts to always improve the industry the guide also recognizes up-and-coming talent, like promising chefs and F&B professionals. It has become a vital resource for both locals and tourists, helping diners make informed choices. The company also organises private, tailored food tours in Valletta and Mdina under the name Offbeat Malta Food Trails.
More recently in 2025, DGG Ltd officially launched EcoCook Malta, a groundbreaking sustainability certification program for restaurants on the Maltese Islands. Supported by the Cross Re-Tour EU grant, this innovative initiative aims to elevate Malta’s restaurant industry by promoting sustainable practices and helping restaurant owners assess and enhance their environmental and social impacts.
EcoCook Malta is the first-ever certification program dedicated to the hospitality industry in Malta, providing restaurant owners with an opportunity to join the global movement toward a greener industry. Through this exclusive collaboration, The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Co will represent EcoCook in Malta and work directly with restaurant owners to implement sustainable practices that benefit both their business and the planet.
