About the role

About KOHO We’re on a mission to make financial services better for every Canadian. That means no hidden fees, no predatory interest rates - just financial products designed to help our users spend smart, save more, and build real wealth. We’re a performance organization with a strong heart: we care deeply about outcomes, and everything ties back to our mission - to financially empower a generation of Canadians.

At KOHO, we’re not your average 9-5. We believe real impact comes from people who are trusted, empowered, and supported to do their best work - without sacrificing their lives to do it. We prioritize work-life integration, not just work-life balance. That means asynchronous collaboration, flexible hours, and a remote-first setup built around autonomy and high trust.

KOHO is entering its next chapter - leaner, smarter, more AI-integrated. We’re building for impact, not bureaucracy. If you thrive in environments that value clarity, ownership, and bold thinking, you’ll fit right in.

Reporting into our VP of Product , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping KOHO’s lending and credit products. This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of a fast-growing portfolio, influence strategy at the leadership level, and deliver products that make a tangible difference in our users’ financial lives. You’ll be at the intersection of innovation and execution — driving growth, optimizing performance, and ensuring our credit offerings stand out in the market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and evolve KOHO’s lending/credit products, with a focus on driving growth, optimizing performance, and continuously improving the user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and market differentiation.
  • Champion experimentation and A/B testing to optimize features, pricing, and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure lending products deliver consistent value to users while maintaining strong risk and compliance standards.
  • Act as a strategic leader within the organization, bringing clarity, prioritization, and momentum to lending initiatives.

About You

  • You are an experienced product manager (3+ years) with a proven track record of scaling and optimizing consumer products.
  • Experience with lending (personal loans, credit cards, etc.) is a strong asset.
  • You are a critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify opportunities and uncover root causes.
  • You take a systematic approach, building scalable systems and processes that enable sustainable product growth.
  • You are results-driven, with a bias for iteration and improvement that drives meaningful business outcomes.
  • You are data-informed, using insights to prioritize initiatives and measure impact.
  • You are a clear communicator who can align diverse stakeholders around strategy and execution.
  • You are an owner, accountable for the success of lending products and motivated to deliver exceptional results for users and the business.
