The Operations FP&A Manager supports the FP&A Director by leading operational KPI reporting, performing variance analysis, managing standard cost updates, and delivering clear, data-driven insights to leadership. Highly structured and process-driven, this role partners closely with Cultivation, Operations, Supply Chain, and Cost Accounting to drive operational and financial alignment. The position is based at our Delta, BC facility, with occasional travel to our downtown Vancouver office.
Key responsibilities**:**

Support leadership decisions with detailed analysis, validate assumptions, and highlight improvement opportunities.

Build and maintain operational KPI reports and dashboards across production stages at assigned sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Perform scenario and what-if analysis to support process and operational decisions under the direction of the FP&A Director.

Support the development and maintenance of standard costs for the budgeting cycle; coordinate updates with Cost Accounting and Operations.

Prepare performance and variance analyses for Cultivation, Operations, and Supply Chain, including COGS, production overhead, and capacity.

Track capital expenditure requests and approved projects, prepare ROI summaries, and complete post-implementation reviews.

Partner with Supply Chain planning to reconcile S&OP forecasts with financial expectations.

Document processes, improve reporting automation, and maintain SOPs for FP&A operations workflows.

Manage competing priorities and communicate status and priorities to stakeholders.
Qualifications**:**
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

5 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Finance or FP&A, ideally in cannabis or multinational CPG.

Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and Power Pivot; experience with databases or ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, Oracle, or SAP is an asset.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with solid knowledge of financial statements and variance analysis.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, high sense of ownership and accountability.

Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across functions and levels.
