Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, the Marketing Specialist executes data-driven, digitally enabled marketing initiatives that support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and long-term customer value.
This role focuses on delivering insight-led, customer-centric campaigns across retail and integrated channels, with an emphasis on lower-funnel and lifecycle marketing. The Marketing Specialist works closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver, optimize, and measure marketing initiatives that drive measurable business results.
Responsibilities:
Customer Growth & Lifecycle Marketing
Execute targeted lower-funnel campaigns that support customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and cross-sell opportunities.
Contribute to lifecycle marketing initiatives across key journey stages, including onboarding, retention, value growth, and loyalty.
Apply customer insights, segmentation, and digital performance data to support campaign optimization.
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Strategy, and Analytics teams on testing and refinement of growth initiatives.
Campaign & Digital Execution
Translate business objectives into clear, insight-driven campaign briefs that guide creative, channel, and media execution.
Support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans and budgets, with a strong focus on digital channels.
Execute marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels, including paid media, email marketing, digital content, promotional offers, loyalty initiatives, and supporting collateral.
Partner with Corporate Communications to support coordinated internal and external communications.
Ensure brand consistency and accuracy across all marketing touchpoints.
Performance & Optimization
Manage campaign schedules and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.
Conduct QA and proofreading to ensure accuracy and functionality of digital and offline assets.
Track and report on campaign performance using defined digital KPIs.
Support post-campaign analysis and continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Monitor digital trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to inform campaign enhancements.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Ag Business, or a related field.
5-7 years of marketing experience in B2B and/or B2C integrated or digital marketing; agriculture or petroleum experience is an asset.
Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, paid media, content, and website-based campaigns.
Experience using customer data, segmentation, and digital campaign metrics.
Strong project management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with analytics tools; SAP and/or Wrike experience is an asset.
Occasional travel to UFA locations is required.
