Our client is looking for a Superintendent to work on ICI construction projects across Ottawa.

Description
- Oversee all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor safety compliance and uphold workplace safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage and resolve any on-site issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Support pre-construction planning and provide input on project scheduling and resource allocation.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and alignment with project goals.

Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience
- Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered assets
- Five or more years experience in commercial construction for a large general contractor
- Five or more years experience as a superintendent for a large general contractor
- Experience with government and institutional projects
