About the role
We are helping our global client in Mississauga with an Accounts Receivable Analyst search. This is a full-time permanent role with benefits, bonus (15%), RRSP matching, and a hybrid work model. This role primarily focuses on Collections, CCP is an asset.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices while maintaining positive customer relationships. Contact customers regarding overdue balances through phone and email, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve billing discrepancies. Reconcile customer accounts, investigate payment issues, and work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve disputes. Monitor aging reports, prioritize collection activities, and escalate high-risk accounts as needed. Prepare collection reports and provide updates on account status, cash collections, and delinquency trends. Support month-end activities, including account reconciliations and bad debt analysis. Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate collection records.
Qualifications
3+ years of B2B collections or accounts receivable experience, preferably within a large or multinational organization. Strong understanding of collections best practices, account reconciliations, and aging analysis. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage a high-volume portfolio, prioritize competing deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
