This is a contract position until February 2027 **Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Hybrid)

What Your Day To Day Will Look Like
- Work closely with the IT team & MSP to ensure that all users receive appropriate service and support, escalating as required
- Escalate any concerns or issues with service providers as required
- Basic network troubleshooting; DHCP, DNS, PING, FTP, VPN
- Investigate and troubleshoot any issues that arise related to Laptops, Desktops, cell phones, tablets, telephone/conference systems, printers/scanners/fax machines or internet providers
- Aid organizations users by understanding the issue and its cause, explaining the problem to the user in a clear and helpful manner
- Basic knowledge of ADUC, pertaining to new account creation, disabling accounts password MGMT
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of all users; requesting set up/termination with the internal team & MSP
- Conduct the set up and change over of all mobile devices
- Conduct training with users on all technology solutions as required.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Post Secondary Education in Information Technology or a related discipline (preferred)
- Experience managing mobile devices, networks, and VoIP systems (8x8 experience considered an asset)
- Must have minimum 2 years experience in a helpdesk role with an IT focus
- Good technical knowledge of the following Microsoft suite; Windows 10,11, 365, SharePoint, OneDrive & MS Teams
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills, ensuring that requests are responded to in a timely manner to service issues and requests, offering exceptional customer service
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with great interpersonal skills
Our Interview Process
- 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
- 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
- 30 minute MS Teams video interview with Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor
