As a Process Redesign Consultant within our Information Technology team, you will play a strategic role in transforming complex business challenges into streamlined, solutions that strengthen operational performance across the division. Emphasis will be on enterprise technology processes in areas such as IT Service Management, Enterprise Architecture, and project delivery processes. You will partner with our strong technology delivery teams to redesign these processes using established methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, delivering meaningful efficiency gains and improved governance. This role offers the opportunity to work independently on medium to large projects, driving innovation, automation, and measurable business outcomes.

Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you’ll do:
- Leading enterprise technology process redesign initiatives from opportunity identification through to implementation and sustained benefits realization.
- Conducting in‑depth process analysis, including root cause analysis, data validation, and development of current and future state process maps using Visio or Miro.
- Applying Lean Six Sigma and other formal process improvement methodologies to simplify and automate operational processes.
- Managing all aspects of continuous improvement and delivery, including scope, schedule, communication, issue tracking, risk escalation, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Designing and executing change management and implementation plans to support successful adoption of redesigned processes.
- Consulting with management and stakeholders to assess business needs, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions that enhance client value.
- Developing training materials and delivering sessions on process redesign and change management to leaders, managers, and SMEs.
- Preparing feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analyses, business cases, documentation, user instructions, and post‑implementation monitoring plans.
- Providing expert guidance to business analysts, SMEs, and stakeholders on process redesign methodologies and best practices.
- Ensuring operational risk procedures are followed and identifying any gaps or risks within existing processes.
What you’ll bring:
- At a minimum, ITIL v3 Foundations certification. Expert levels would be beneficial.
- 6–10 years of experience leading enterprise technology process activities using formal improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
- At least 5 years of experience executing all stages of business analysis, including requirements gathering, data mapping, workflow design, and screen design.
- A post‑secondary degree in business, technology, engineering, or equivalent education and experience combination.
- Strong project management skills, with practical experience managing medium to large projects; PMP designation in progress or an asset.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and evaluate initiative outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience applying process analysis, improvement, and reengineering methodologies to create simplified and automated processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and visually present complex processes in a simple, concise manner.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities, from executives to individual contributors, with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent work experience, along with proficiency in Visio, Miro or similar process‑mapping tools.
- A strategic, analytical, and innovative mindset with strong attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to continuous learning.
