About the role

Position Scope:

The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for an experienced Heavy Equipment Multi Operatorswith large earthworks construction / mining project experience.

We offer:

  • 3 week on / 3 week off rotations; 12-hour days
  • Fly in / Fly out
  • Competitive hourly rate with Overtime pay (1.5x)
  • Commercial flights and accommodations are covered

Responsibilities:

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
  • Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
  • Operate other heavy equipment if required.
  • Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating (Loader, Dozer, Excavator, and Graders) in a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting.
  • Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life.
  • Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness.
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols.
