Affinity’s Loan Processing team is looking for a personable and detail-oriented person to serve as a Loan Processing Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset with excellent organizational skills.
What you’ll do:
- Verify, register, renew, discharge and administer all required security and searches
- Process loan payments, payouts and disburses funds
- Maintain daily tracking systems for expiry and renewal dates of insurance, mortgages, annual reviews and loan-related items
- Ensure transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner and that cash totals balance to GL
- Ensure effective use of systems for efficient processing and inquiries, including the banking system, registration system and the ISC Land System, among others
- Prepare and process loan applications/renewals and amendments and related loan documentation, including proper set-up on the banking system and posting of loan entries
- Complete activities related to the proper maintenance and retention of office correspondence, loan files and other documentation
- Maintain loan and/or membership documentation filing systems to keep records current and organized (imaging/paper filing systems)
- Occupy and perform, occasionally, reception and/or mailroom support functions, as required

What you’ve got:
- High School diploma, plus 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of the financial services industry
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
