About the role

Job Description Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is involved in all aspects of the recruiting process, including employment branding, candidate relationship management and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a team player, service-oriented, highly engaged strategic thinker, driven by process and metrics.

  • $61,425 - $70,000 ( please note that this is an estimate and actual pay will vary depending on experience, qualifications and professional certifications .)

Responsibilities

  • Full recruitment life cycle for all new hires including sourcing, screening, selection, application, checking references, and on-boarding qualified candidates
  • Scheduling of candidates based on daily fluctuating demands
  • Coordinate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, phone screening, and candidate selection
  • Coordinate and manage the offer letter process and pre-employment activities (orientation, safety), including conducting background checks and testing
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, newly hired employees, and the Company and promote a positive relationship between the three
  • Maintain applicant database and ensure completion of daily goals
  • Maintain fill rate, meet targets and year-over-year growth
  • Coordinate and participate in networking and recruiting events
  • Mentor, coach, counsel, and guide employees on processes, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Education Required: Post-Secondary Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment is a strong asset, including full cycle recruiting, preferably staffing/agency background
  • Proven experience making autonomous, well-reasoned decisions tailored to unique or evolving circumstances
  • Demonstrated ability to bring forward new and creative solutions to improve the attraction and recruitment process
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills allowing you to manage multiple applicants while anticipating shifts in priorities
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrating excellent attention to detail
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Process-drive and passionate about recruitment
  • A keen eye for detail and demonstrates a high sense of urgency in delivering high quality customer service
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
