Title: Painter
Department: Operations Services
Position: Full-Time
The Painter is the primary person responsible for all painting and finishing related tasks. This includes but is not limited to: temporary and permanent structures, décor, portable assets, day-to-day prep work and painting in commercial and residential settings including: prep of wood and walls, rolling, cutting, priming, spraying on shop and field and touch-ups.Please note that during the Tournaments, requirements and tasks may be adjusted. This is a full-time hourly position at 40-44 hours per week. Events are held on weekends; therefore, it is necessary to be available to work both weekends and nights. Shifts will fluctuate to coincide with the busy Spruce Meadows Tournament Season
###MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Two years of experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in deportment and approach
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
- Strong team approach and willingness to assist others when necessary.
- Ability to self-motivate and manage time.
- Reliable transportation to and from work and a Class 5 driver’s license
- Current certificate in Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (Asset)
- Ability to speak a second language fluently (Asset)
###EXPERIENCE
- Painting, rolling, cutting, priming, spraying
- Industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
- Current Operator’s Certification on Aerial Work Platform (Asset)
- Current Operator’s Certification on Counter Balance Forklift and All-Terrain Forklift (Asset)
