Position Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to:
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in the Emergency Department.
- Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students and residents.
- Conduct research in the field of Emergency Medicine.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent.
- Eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Emergency Medicine.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
