About the role
Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 3 Driver/Operators to join their safety conscious team at Suncor Fort Hills ! You will be responsible for operating and driving various assigned units such as combo units, water trucks, pressure trucks, and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.
This is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position. This is a 14/14 rotation, full rates starting at $41.44/hour.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Drives, operates and stages units.
- Performs pre and post trip inspections.
- Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.
- Maintains and updates driver’s logbook.
- Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
- Performs roadside repairs as required
- other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged.
- Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience.
- Ability to work a 14/14 rotation, day and night shift.
- Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.
- Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac truck units would be an asset.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
- Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.
