We have an immediate opening for a Content Specialist who will assist with posting career opportunities—like the one you’re reading now. We are committed to accuracy, accessibility, and innovation in support of local government.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the information we share, particularly on our job board and through our communications platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and post job advertisements.

  • Respond to related phone and email inquiries.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in proofreading and data entry.

  • Contribute to process improvement by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong written communication skills, including proofreading.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with online content management tools, Adobe, and Microsoft Office.

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or content-focused role is an asset.

  • Familiarity with local government or the non-profit sector is an advantage.

Work Environment

  • Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific. Hours required for this position are Monday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additional holiday coverage may be requested.

  • This position is a 6-month term with the possibility of a 3–6 month extension.

  • A remote working arrangement is available, with an expectation of in-office attendance once per month.
