Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods domestically and internationally. This position is responsible for preparing shipping and customs documentation, coordinating with carriers and internal teams, maintaining accurate shipment records, and supporting logistics reporting and on-time delivery performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in global trade or supply chain operations within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This position reports to the Logistics Team Leader and is based on-site at VIQUA in Guelph, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments (inbound and outbound)
  • Prepare shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing slips, bills of lading)
  • Support logistics reporting (costs, tracking status, on-time delivery metrics)
  • Assist in resolving transportation issues or delivery delays
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight quotes
  • Collaborate with customer service, warehouse teams to support order fulfillment
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to import/export compliance and safety

Qualifications

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of international shipping and Incoterms 2020 a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, or transportation management software (TMS) an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
