As a Temporary Yard Support & Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and tidy appearance of the Burdett dealership yard. You will perform general upkeep and maintenance to the yard as required. You will also be responsible for pickup and delivery of customers and internal AG&GC equipment. This will include pickup and deliveries for service and sold equipment as well as inter-store transfers of AG&GC equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the yard (specific tasks include snow removal, harrow yard, keep yard garbage free, monitors garbage bins, recycling bins, and metal bins)
- Pickup and delivery of customer equipment with semi and delivery truck
- Assist with unloading of new and used incoming equipment
- Assist with maintaining sales line of equipment to keep looking current and tidy
- Assist with boosting and plugging in equipment during winter months
- Acknowledge, communicate, and execute all internal equipment transfer requests
- Assist in wash bay when needed
- Assist with cleaning equipment as needed
- Work overtime and weekends as needed
- Communicate with customers and fellow employees professionally and courteously
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Build and promote a strong “Team and One Enterprise”
- Other duties as assigned by management
· This expected duration of this temporary role is from the September 29th, 2025, until January 30th, 2026 (these dates may vary depending on organizational needs)
Requirements
Valid Class 1 Driver's License: You'll need this and a clean driver's abstract for work-related travel.
People-Focused: Team player with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on customer service.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong time management, ability to work independently, and adaptability.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.
Experience: Equipment hauling experience would be an asset.
