What You’ll Do
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in attracting, hiring, and retaining the skilled professionals who make our work possible. You’ll collaborate with managers and field supervisors to understand seasonal needs and ensure that we have the right people in place, whether it’s summer landscaping crews or winter snow removal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for both seasonal and year-round positions.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, community outreach, and industry networks.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the full hiring process.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future staffing needs.
- Partner with leadership to understand workforce requirements and anticipate upcoming needs.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure new hires transition smoothly into their roles.
- Represent the company at job fairs, trade schools, and community events.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the trades, construction, landscaping, or similar industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a wide range of candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously, including high-volume seasonal hiring.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Passion for building strong teams and contributing to a positive company culture.

- Base Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour(based on experience)

You will be expected to work from our office/service centre located in the Leaside neighbourhood.
