A new boutique classical Pilates studio in London is seeking a freelance graphic designer to create a distinctive logo that embodies the studio’s core values of community, energy, stretching, and wellness. The target audience spans adults in their 30s to 70s who value quality movement and foundational health. The logo should reflect structure, foundation, and integrity, while integrating elements of nature and growth, inspired by the studio’s proximity to green space. The desired aesthetic is natural, creative, and modern yet timeless, ensuring versatility across shop signage, digital platforms, and merchandise such as caps, socks, and tote bags.
Deliverables
- Develop two initial logo concepts: one clean and minimalist with bold negative space and stylized geometric elements combining vertebrae or bone structure with flowing lines; another intricate and detailed, featuring linework and textures that interweave bone structure with nature elements like vines or leaves.
- Avoid generic stick figures; focus on themes of foundation, flow, and growth.
- Use a refined, natural color palette: deep charcoal, sage green, off-white, and a warm accent in terracotta or gold.
- Provide final deliverables in vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG), high-resolution PNGs, and a standalone icon suitable for small merchandise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logo design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in both minimalist and detailed styles.
- Ability to translate brand values and target audience insights into compelling visual identities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and scalable design for various applications.
