Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
Location - SE Calgary
Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with Cherry Picker (Order picker experience) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a Raymond Reach forklift efficiently move, load, and unload materials and products. A strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and safety protocols is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Cherry Picker forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers with precision.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order picking processes.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, handling loads up to specified weight limits.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating Chery Picker forklifts in a warehouse distribution setting is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience with Cherry Picker forklift.
- Preferred forklift certified.
- Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
