Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Coordinator / Engineering Program Lead for ArcelorMittal Mines Canada. This individual will serve as the central coordination hub for a large multidisciplinary engineering organization, ensuring alignment between engineering leadership, lead engineers, technical experts, and external engineering firms.

The successful candidate will oversee engineering priorities across multiple concurrent projects, facilitate communication between disciplines, optimize resource allocation, and provide consolidated visibility into project status, risks, and execution progress.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineering professional with strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills who enjoys operating at the intersection of strategy, engineering execution, and continuous improvement within a complex industrial environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Engineering degree Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects Experience collaborating with and managing external engineering firms Strong understanding of multiple engineering disciplines (generalist engineering background) Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills Strong interface management and problem-solving abilities Ability to coordinate multiple engineering projects simultaneously Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder mobilization skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience consolidating project status, risks, and priorities across large engineering programs Bilingual in French and English

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or large capital project environments Previous experience supporting an Engineering Director or engineering leadership team

Please note for this role the contract rate is $78-$83
