Lead Full Stack Developer (C#/.NET) – Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)
Must be authorized to work in Canada without any sponsorship. Having lead or architect experience is a must.
A growing software consulting and systems integration firm is looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer to join its team in Burnaby, BC. This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite per week) where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving a highly configurable SaaS platform used to solve complex business challenges for enterprise clients.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll drive architecture, mentor developers, establish engineering best practices, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise SaaS applications. Design scalable, maintainable, and highly configurable software solutions. Build new features while improving platform performance, scalability, and interoperability. Partner with Project Managers and stakeholders to remove blockers and ensure successful releases. Lead technical design sessions, proof-of-concepts, and architecture discussions. Mentor and coach developers on coding standards, best practices, and software engineering principles. Perform code reviews and help maintain high engineering quality across the team. Collaborate with QA, Product, and other technical teams throughout the SDLC. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and leverage AI-assisted development where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of full-stack software development experience. 2+ years of technical leadership or engineering lead experience. Strong experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, and modern full-stack development. Experience building enterprise applications in Azure/cloud environments. Experience leading development teams of approximately 5–10 engineers. Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and modern engineering practices. Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in Burnaby, BC). Hands-on technical leadership with architectural ownership. Opportunity to mentor engineers and influence engineering standards. Work on modern cloud-based SaaS products serving enterprise clients. Collaborative consulting environment with challenging and impactful projects.
