About the role

Leads overall solution development as the key interface with Sales, Engineering/Operations, Technology, and other internal resources to align deliverables with overall project goals throughout the project lifecycle.

Design, develop, and implement supply chain solutions in support of internal/external customers and/or corporate initiatives. Provide guidance and recommendations that supports the sales process and improves the organization's ability to differentiate and add value to the overall solution and sales strategy for both new and existing customers. Provide supply chain improvement recommendations evaluating the customer supply chain network while applying fact-based analysis and knowledge in transportation modes (parcel, LTL/TL, air freight, ocean, rail) and global shipping requirements. Evaluate customer business needs and industry insights to establish high-level strategy to execute supply chain improvements based on the services and capabilities offered by utilizing Quality tools and processes. Lead multiple complex assignments concurrently while working individually and/or leading peer/cross functional teams with internal/external customer interaction. Lead brainstorming, review sessions to develop recommendations while ensuring industry best practices and methods are applied to projects. Mentors and provides guidance to less senior team members. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in quantitative business or a related field

Minimum Experience

Minimum of five (5) years business experience in a supply chain related field to include designing, maintaining, and/or implementation of solutions to complex business situations. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Fournir des conseils et des recommandations qui soutiennent le processus de vente et améliorent la capacité de l’organisation à se différencier et à ajouter de la valeur à la solution globale et à la stratégie de vente pour les clients nouveaux et existants. Fournir des recommandations d’amélioration de la chaîne d’approvisionnement en évaluant le réseau de chaîne d’approvisionnement du client tout en appliquant une analyse factuelle et les connaissances des modes de transport (colis, camionnage en charge complète ou partielle, fret aérien, maritime, ferroviaire) et des exigences d’expédition mondiales. Évaluer les besoins commerciaux des clients et les connaissances du secteur pour établir une stratégie de haut niveau afin d’exécuter des améliorations de la chaîne d’approvisionnement en se basant sur les services et les capacités offerts en utilisant les outils et les processus de qualité. Diriger plusieurs tâches complexes simultanément tout en travaillant individuellement et/ou en dirigeant des équipes de pairs/interfonctionnelles avec interaction avec les clients internes/externes. Diriger des séances de remue-méninges et d’examen pour développer des recommandations tout en veillant à l’application des meilleures pratiques et méthodes de l’industrie aux projets. Mentorer et fournir des conseils aux membres de l’équipe moins expérimentés. Accomplir d’autres tâches selon les besoins.

Scolarité minimum

Diplôme universitaire de premier cycle ou l’équivalent en commerce, dans une discipline quantitative ou dans un domaine connexe

Expérience minimale

Un minimum de cinq (5) ans d’expérience en entreprise dans un domaine lié à la chaîne d’approvisionnement, y compris la conception, la maintenance et/ou la mise en œuvre de solutions à des situations commerciales complexes. Un diplôme avancé connexe peut compenser les exigences d’expérience connexe.
