Position hours are seven (7) hours daily from Monday through Friday.

Summary of Position
The School Secretary provides expert administrative support including secretarial, financial management, reception and clerical duties to advance the needs of staff, students and parents. As a School Secretary, you will be the hub of the school and will be responsible for directing the flow of activities and will play an integral role in the smooth and effective operation of the school including demonstrating the values of Living Sky School Division and your school community.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Office Administration Certificate or Diploma program or a grade 12 education with 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Intermediate to advanced level technical/computer skills (ie. Microsoft Suite)
- Functional proficiency/experience with typical accounting software (ie. Quickbooks)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract with access to a reliable vehicle

Living Sky School Division encompasses a wide geographic area including the Battlefords, many communities, villages, First Nation communities, and Hutterite colonies. We are located in the heart of wheat and oil country.
Currently, 28 schools are located in 19 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a population of approximately 5,300 students.
