Experience leading multi-channel marketing projects, managing scope and budgets, and mentoring junior team members is key. Automotive experience is a bonus.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Account Services team and lead the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing and advertising initiatives. This role serves as a key operational partner to account leadership and is responsible for driving projects from brief through delivery while ensuring timelines, budgets, resources, and client expectations are effectively managed. The Senior Project Manager will work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to establish project plans, identify risks, align teams, and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent campaigns. The ideal candidate combines exceptional organizational skills with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, bringing a proactive approach to managing complex, fast-paced agency environments.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as a primary day-to-day project management contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, timeline reviews, and workflow discussions. Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication, transparency, and accountability. Partner closely with Account Services team to align project delivery with client objectives and business priorities. Manage client expectations regarding scope, schedules, approvals, and deliverables.

Project Planning & Delivery

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, workback schedules, and resource forecasts. Manage integrated campaigns across creative, strategy, digital, media, social, CRM, experiential, and production teams. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Establish project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths while proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies. Monitor project health and escalate issues when appropriate.

Scope & Financial Management

Manage project scope, change requests, and project documentation. Collaborate with Account Services and Finance teams to monitor project budgets, estimates, and profitability. Track hours, burn rates, and resource utilization against approved budgets. Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and agency performance.

Resource & Workflow Management

Coordinate cross-functional teams and allocate resources according to project priorities and capacity. Partner with department leads to balance workloads and optimize team utilization. Facilitate collaboration across strategy, creative, media, digital, and production disciplines. Ensure teams have clear briefs, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.

Process & Operational Excellence

Champion project management best practices, workflows, and governance standards. Improve project tracking, reporting, and operational processes. Develop templates, tools, and frameworks that increase efficiency and consistency.

Leadership

Mentor junior project managers. Write and participate in yearly performance reviews. Contribute to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experiences

College or University Degree. 4+ years of project management experience within an advertising, marketing, creative, or integrated agency environment. Proven experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing and advertising campaigns. Strong client-facing experience with the ability to lead conversations with senior stakeholders. Deep understanding of agency workflows, creative development processes, and campaign execution. Experience managing and mentoring junior project managers. Experience managing budgets, scopes of work, resource plans, and project profitability. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Automotive category experience is an asset. Proficient with Smart Sheets, Sharepoint and MS Office.

Target Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
