Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver - Class 1 will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle operation and cargo handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for freight transportation across designated routes
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations
• Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading cargo

Experience

• Valid Class 1 commercial driver?s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
• Knowledge of forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair is advantageous
• Experience handling freight logistics and cargo management is a plus
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations related to commercial trucking

Pay: $36.50-$40.00 per hour
