Position Description
We are looking for a seasoned Oracle OSM Technical Lead with deep expertise in telecom order orchestration and fulfillment. The ideal candidate will lead the technical delivery of Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM) solutions for large-scale digital transformation initiatives in the telecommunications sector.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of OSM cartridges and orchestration models tailored to telecom services (e.g., Internet, Television, Voice).
- Collaborate with solution architects, development team, and telecom domain experts to define order management strategies aligned with industry standards (e.g., TM Forum).
- Develop and optimize order decomposition, orchestration plans, and task flows for complex service fulfillment scenarios.
- Integrate OSM with OSS/BSS systems such as UIM, Customer Order Manager, and activation platforms (e.g., ASAP, TMF APIs).
- Ensure high performance and scalability of OSM solutions in high-volume telecom environments.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization of OSM-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order fallout, orchestration logic, and system integration.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle OSM development and implementation within telecom projects.
- Strong understanding of telecom service lifecycle, provisioning, and fulfillment processes.
- Hands-on experience with OSM cartridges, orchestration plans, order decomposition, and task modeling.
- Proficiency in Java, XQuery, XML, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with Oracle Communications stack (UIM, ASAP, etc.).
- Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open APIs).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with 5G, fiber, or converged service orchestration.
- Exposure to cloud-native telecom architectures and containerization (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Oracle certifications in OSM or related technologies.
