We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our busy and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting directly to the VP of Product Realization, the Project Manager drives the successful planning, execution, and delivery of innovative products for the natural gas industry, specializing in flow metering solutions and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI)/IoT services. This position coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met, manages resources and budgets, mitigates risks, and maintains compliance with industry regulations and standards. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, technical project leadership, and the ability to deliver complex solutions that support utility clients in modernizing their operations and achieving reliable, data-driven performance.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Plan and define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and resource requirements
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, adjusting as necessary to adapt to changes or unforeseen issues
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and utilization of team members to ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing obstacles to keep the project on track
- Analyze and mitigate project risks, proactively developing solutions to prevent issues from impacting project goals
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment, provide updates, and collect feedback
- Ensure that all documentation, reporting, and records are maintained according to organizational standards and project requirements
- Maintain quality assurance by checking that project deliverables meet agreed specifications and standards
- Align to, and manage progress through a stage-gate process by preparing deliverables, facilitating gate reviews, assessing project status at each gate, and ensuring projects meet go/no-go criteria before advancing to the next stage, and help develop these criteria
- Close out the project, including final reporting, lessons learned, and transition to operations or maintenance as appropriate
- All other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills, presentation skills are considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail for projects and problem resolution is required
- A leader that takes initiative and works with others to get the job done
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Clear and persuasive communication, written and verbal
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Effective collaboration leadership and time management skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Educational/Experience Requirements:
- College or University degree (BA or Business Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or Business/Marketing program
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Formal Project Management certification such as PMP, CAPM, Agile certified practitioner
- Technical background, with experience in the natural gas industry, manufacturing, and within a similar role
- Demonstrated expertise using modern project management tools and frameworks
