Major Responsibilities
- To report directly to the Engineering & Production Manager on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to manufacturing and production of consumable products and machine products.
- Communicate across all departments, including all levels of Manufacturing, QA, Maintenance, EHS, Accounting, Sales and Marketing as well as Senior Management.
- Lead and support capital projects through proposals, project planning and commissioning.
- To oversee and ensure ESA (Electrical Safety Authority) compliance.
- Responsible for the design of electrical including equipment, systems and controls.
- Participate in Pre-Start safety reviews for safety compliance.
- Responsible for providing ongoing maintenance support.
- Co-ordinate and supervise contractors.
- Participate in manufacturing & engineering team decisions regarding continuous improvements and expansions.
- Ensure all documentation required for safety audits and compliance is maintained on a continual basis.
- Co-ordinate with production, maintenance and engineering departments with regards to requirements/changes etc.
- To participate co-operatively as an employee within the company Performance Appraisal Process and Merit Rating System.
- To actively participate in company, staff or individual one-on-one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective Teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co-operation strategies within the department, as well as other departments across the company.
- Implementation of Lean methodology including Six Sigma, Kanban, 5S, etc.
- To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of natural resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
- To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Engineering & Production Manager in a timely professional manner.
Position Requirements & Factors
Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree - 4 Year Program in Engineering
- Experience with desktop app development
- Experience with winforms, c#, SQL server, and MQTT
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
