About the role

Role Description/Criteria Long Service Leave Replacement (0.8) We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher Librarian to join our community for a long service leave replacement from—18 MAY to 4 JUNE.The Teacher Librarian works collaboratively with the Learning Commons team, teachers and Learning Leaders to support student learning and wellbeing. Reporting to the Learning Commons Leader, the role focuses on fostering information literacy, promoting reading, and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive library environment.Key responsibilities include collaborating with teachers to embed information literacy and digital citizenship skills across the curriculum, teaching students the ethical and effective use of ICT and information resources, and developing programs that support research and learning.The role also supports the day-to-day operation of the library by helping manage physical and digital collections, developing subject LibGuides, organising displays and events, and promoting reading through initiatives such as book clubs and challenges.
