Admin Assistant – Full-time – January 5, 2026 to April 30, 2026 Location: The Beaches area of Toronto

Kriens LaRose is a well-established professional accounting firm located in the heart of the Beaches of Toronto. With a long-standing reputation of excellence in providing client service, KL is also proud of its dedicated, experienced team of professional staff Our firm is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented student to support our tax team during the busiest season of our year. You will be part of a team meeting critical tax deadlines from January to April 2026.
Mandatory Requirements You must meet all eligibility criteria by the first day of employment: • Work Environment: You must be living in the province of Ontario during the term of employment • Work Status: Eligible to work in Canada.
Other Qualifications • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma in Business Administration • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. • Familiarity with tax or accounting software is a plus, but not required. • Previous experience in an accounting firm is a plus but not required.

Summary of Responsibilities • Reception duties – answer door and greet clients/vendors • Manage the intake of client documents: downloading/file of electronic document, and scanning/filing hardcopy document • Use online Job management tool to update client file status • Preparation of client packages, and arrange for pick-up or courier • General housekeeping – stock supplies, empty bins as needed, run/empty dishwashers, maintain tidiness of the office
Work Term • 40 hours per week from January to mid-March, 45 hours per week from mid-March to end of April • 4 month term commencing January 5th, 2026
Work Environment The office has a business casual dress code. For the length of the contract, it will be expected that you will be in the office 5 days a week. There will be an opportunity for additional over-time hours and/or to extend your work week to 6 days per week, during the month of April should you wish (at the discretion of the Tax team partner)
