Your Opportunity:
Come join our team!!! We are seeking to bring on a casual processor to support the ENT Clinic and Calgary Voice Program at the Richmond Road Diagnostic Treatment Center. Our team is small, and a typical shift has 2/3 processors working to support the needs of our busy clinics. Relief would be scheduled to cover regular staff and their time off, as well as to support program growth.
Description:
As a Surgical Processor, you will be responsible for the decontamination, reassembly and sterilization of hospital supplies, equipment and surgical instrumentation. You will use the principles of aseptic technique and follow Universal Precautions in the prevention of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI). You will ensure instrumentation and equipment is in proper working order, perform biological, chemical and quality assurance testing and report problems to the supervisor or designate.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. Completion of an Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years front line experience. Experience working in an Ambulatory Outpatient Clinic Setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Quality Improvement experience.
