Email Marketing Manager (HubSpot & CRM Automation) – 12-Month Contract Location: Canada Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 a year Role Type: Full-Time for 12 months

We are looking for a HubSpot-expert Email Marketing Manager to lead our communication strategy for a massive database of over 500,000 contacts. This isn't just about sending newsletters; it’s about managing high-volume, highly segmented journeys for a diverse range of SMB industries. In this role, you’ll act as the architect of our customer lifecycle, balancing complex lifecycle automation with high-converting creative copies. Key Responsibilities

Platform Mastery & Automation: Use HubSpot for sophisticated campaign setups and workflow executions, while leveraging Salesforce CRM for data-driven targeting. Audience Segmentation: Ensure precise targeting by managing schedules, complex lifecycle automation, and effective audience segmentation across diverse industries. Campaign & Journey Management: Plan, build, and manage end-to-end email initiatives, including lead nurturing, promotions, and onboarding sequences. Content & Design: Write high-converting, punchy copy and collaborate on visually effective email templates and layouts. Optimization & Testing: Continuously run aggressive A/B tests on subject lines, messaging, and CTAs to optimize delivery and engagement metrics. Performance Analytics: Monitor and report on core KPIs (opens, clicks, conversions) to provide actionable, decision-ready insights for senior leadership. AI Innovation: Identify and implement practical AI applications to systematically improve marketing effectiveness and dynamic personalization.

Required Skills & "Must-Have" Qualifications

HubSpot Expertise (Deal-Breaker): 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience utilizing HubSpot as your primary email and automation tool (must be a major component of your current or most recent role). CRM Proficiency (Deal-Breaker): Direct, recent experience working with Salesforce CRM for audience targeting and data synchronization. Experience Baseline: 5+ years of progressive experience in dedicated email marketing, CRM, or marketing automation roles. Industry Background: Proven experience in transactional, lead-generation, or fast-paced B2C/B2B2C environments (e.g., E-commerce, Insurance, Banking, Mortgages, or FinTech). Core Mechanics: Deep understanding of customer journey orchestration, transactional email mechanics, deliverability, and database list health. Copywriting Skills: Exceptional copywriting and editing expertise with an eye for clean, high-performing email template structures. Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate complex campaign metrics into improved conversion rates.
