The Customer Service Representative (Intern) is responsible for answering customer inquiries or complaints, processing orders, researching and resolving requests to improve sales and maintain customer satisfaction. Maintains an ongoing relationship with customers, field sales, distribution, purchasing, manufacturing and marketing.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
- Intends to return to school on a full-time basis for the upcoming academic year;
- Is a student in a secondary or post-secondary educational program; and
- Is legally entitled to work in Canada.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Must have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and a strong customer orientation.
- Industry knowledge, technical, electrical and/or mechanical experience or aptitude is preferred.
- The ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment is a must. Requires strong organizational and time management skills and be able to effectively multi-task.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Previous experience with Salesforce applications and reports, an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical concepts and a background in a manufacturing environment a plus.
