Canadian Tire North Vancouver is looking for an energetic and committed Full Time Certified Mechanic to join our shop.

The main responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Perform inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safety and accurately according to the dealers and manufactures guidelines.
- Diagnosis and document in detail the cause of concerns and related repair.
- Work closely and communicate freely with other members of the team. This will include, but is not limited to other technicians and apprentices, parts consultants, service advisors, and sales personnel.
- Inspect all vehicle for safety and operation and notify advisors immediately if additional repairs are required.
- Perform road tests as a quality check to verify the work performed.
- Provide guidance and support to any assigned apprentices.
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of computers
- Adhere to all company and manufactures policies and procedures.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Able to work independently and as a member of the team
- Red Seal Certification
- CVSE Provincial Inspector Licence
- Drivers Licence
- Able to lift at least 25lbs and be comfortable bending, lifting, kneeling, and using ladders
- Passion for vehicles and the automotive industry.
