Millwright Apprentice/Service Technician

Applied Industrial Technologies LP is a group of industrial distribution companies located throughout Canada. We are currently seeking qualified candidate for a full time role as:

Millwright Apprentice/Service Technician in our Edmonton Shop

Applicants must be a service minded, energetic individual who possesses abilities in the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a safe manner, follow safety rules and guidelines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Adapt and learn new skills as required
  • Work in a team environment to efficiently achieve a high standard of quality and service to Applied’s extensive customer base

Preference will be given to individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Apprentices with relevant shop experience will be considered

  • Experience working in a rotating equipment maintenance, repair or fabrication environment an asset

  • Service orientated with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Ability to use both written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information.

  • Willingness to learn on the job
