What is the opportunity?
As a Trust Administrator, Indigenous Wealth , you will help administer a portfolio of Indigenous Trusts, working with each community to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with Associate Trust Officers, Trust Advisors, the Associate Director, as well as a team of trust administrators, and will act as a liaison between the First Nation, investment Consultants, Investment Managers and Auditors in order to ensure seamless service to the Nation. You will manage and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, professional advisors, and varying centers of influence.

What will you do?
- Assist Officers in all administrative functions
- Ensure all account information on internal systems is up-to-date, complete, and accurate
- Maintain all written, verbal, and electronic communication as required with internal and external contacts as well as with clients
- Investigate all inquiries and administrative errors and refer more complex issues to the Senior Officer
- Understand and follow all RBC processes and policies as required
- Promptly respond to client calls in the absence of the Officer or Senior Officer, addressing client inquiries in a professional manner
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry
- Post-secondary education
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with sensitive and difficult client situations in a professional manner
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and solid follow-through capabilities
- Strong teamwork and relationship building skills as success in this role is dependent on working in cooperation with others
Nice-to-have
- Successful completion of STEP Canada’s Foundations of Estate and Trust Administration course (CETA1), or willingness to complete within 6-12 months of employment
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.
The expected salary range for this position is $41,000 - $60,000.
