We are looking for a Part Time Maintenance Technician to assist with our multi-family residential building in Calgary, AB. This position will start at approximately 8–12 hours per week, with the opportunity for increased hours in the future based on operational needs. What you will be doing:

• Painting, drywall patching, mudding, and taping;
• Detecting faulty operations, defective materials, and reporting deficiencies;
• Maintain building exterior including basic ground maintenance;
• Perform repairs to windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures, and carpet tile replacement;
• Diagnosis and repair plumbing, heating, and electrical problems.

What you need to bring:

• Two years of experience in the property management and/or construction industry would be an asset;
• Ability to use physical exertion that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials;
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a results-oriented approach;
• Ability to think creatively when problem solving, proactively adapting to challenges;
• Ability to work well independently;
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships and to work well in a team environment.
