Shift: Monday to Friday: 4:30pm-7:30pm (15hours/week) Pay Rate: $18.90/hour Address: 3330 Hawthorne Rd, Ottawa ON or 1400 Upper Canada St, Ottawa ON Description The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks

Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out

Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer

Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles

Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items

Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Additional Responsibilities Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without any restrictions

Must have access to a vehicle to get to and from the terminal

Must be able to meet physical requirement of job, i.e. lift or carry approximately 70lbs.

Must pass the RCMP Criminal Record Check

Must own CSA approved steel toe footwear (up to $200 reimbursed)

Previous experience in a Distribution Center or Warehouse Environment considered an asset
