About The Role Essity is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager for the Long-Term Care channel. This individual will be responsible for sustaining and expanding sales performance in the Central Region’s LTC channel. This role collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Director – Central Acute/LTC as well as Account, Brand and National Managers to assess and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth in the LTC channel.
This will be a remote position responsible for covering Ontario. The ideal candidate should be located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and able to travel often. We’re looking for an individual who embodies our values and isn’t afraid to lead from the front, challenge, provide expertise and motivate others around them. What You Will Do
- Collaborate in the development and execution of regional business plans to support corporate objectives
- Participate in GPO/SSO/tender process input of pricing and assortment plan for regional bids, contracts
- Support broker and distributor partners in implementing high-growth programs and initiatives
- Deliver key financial performance metrics, including regional sales growth and gross margin targets
- Equip the sales team with data-driven insights to optimize strategies within the LTC channel
- Execute business strategies in alignment with regional and national sales leaders
- Assist sales teams in closing critical accounts to drive expansion
- Contribute to managing the Central Region’s budget and resource allocation
- Partner with Marketing to design and execute promotional campaigns and incentive programs to maximize ROI
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to support strategic
Who You Are
- Proven leadership experience with strong coaching capabilities
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Healthcare & Medical Industry
- Skilled in contract development and negotiation
- Skilled at hunting new business opportunities – identification to close
- Excellent communicator with refined conflict resolution abilities
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian sales processes and industry dynamics
- Analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional time management and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
- Demonstrated accountability and performance ownership
