What will your role involve?
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handle general maintenance work such as minor carpentry, door and hardware repairs, painting, and drywall patching.
- Assist with building operations as needed to keep facilities running smoothly.
- Install and repair trim, doors, moulding, and cabinetry.
- Repair or refinish furniture and fixtures as required.
- Safely use and maintain a range of power tools and equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent issues to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Support other team members and contractors as needed to complete work efficiently and on time.

What will make you a great fit
We are looking for an individual with a proactive approach to maintenance. If you have experience troubleshooting along with a passion for ensuring everything runs smoothly, you might be the perfect fit for our team!
To excel in this role, you should be:

Minimum of two three years previous experience considered an asset

Completed Grade 12 education
-
Clean Driver's abstract required
-
Able to use basic power tools and complete basic building maintenance

Basic command of the English language (written and verbal)

Exceptional skills in communications, organizational, interpersonal and time management

Plumbing knowledge would be considered an asset

Proven experience in exercising good judgement under pressure
-
Physically fit, able to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time an lift in excess of 25 kilograms

Carpentry/Construction skills considered an asset

Strong customer care and communication skill
