Manager Accessory Programs Code: MCVA / 23235 Salary: $114,000 - $140,000 per year The Manager Accessory Programs is the leader responsible to ensure that the customer service team. They have the tools, knowledge and processes to execute best in class customer service. The team is the technical and commercial interface between the company and the customer. The Manager Accessory Programs will be responsible for the professional management and support of its customers and contracts and core KPIs externally to the customer and internally to MTU.

Typical duties include representing the customer effectively within MTU, by building and leading a team to drive the customer’s requirements through the organization on time, on budget, on quality, ensuring and improving our customer’s satisfaction while maintaining optimum results for MTU-C and its customers. The Manager Accessory Programs must also have experience in process implementation and transformation/change management. They must also be fluent with current technology and experience with Tableau.

Your Tasks: Sales Oriented:

  • Support sales activities with existing and new customers, involvement in proposals and contracts for new customers.
  • Manage customer orders and contracts as well as ensure profit and loss analysis.
  • Support customer program reviews

Shop Visit Related:

  • Ensure each shop visit follows the shop visit execution process, technical requirements outlined in the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), commercially and meets the company’s financial goals

Contract Related:

  • Monitor all key KPIs and Program health: TAT, budgets/costs, customer satisfaction, quality in accordance with contractual arrangements, customer requirements and MTU requirements.
  • Ensure optimized contract management and post shop visit analysis
  • Optimize the financial result in accordance to MTU guidelines.
  • Responsible for coordination of on-call service and AOG support.
  • Initiate customer complaint management and voice of the customer actions as required
  • Ensure that after each shop visit the organization evaluates the activities and processes with a focus for continuous improvement
  • Ensure that effective customer set-up is achieved and that the customer requirements and budgets are effectively communicated to Operations and implemented prior to the shop visit.
  • Build both strong internal and external customer relationships based on trust and reliability

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor/University degree in a Business related area and 5-7 years of experience in customer support, preferable in an aviation environment with some financial background/experience
  • or >6 years equivalent education with technical background and customer support, preferable in a aviation environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system in Customer Support specific functions/transactions is preferred

MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. is an organization that is approved by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), Transport Canada and other aviation authorities to inspect, maintain, repair, overhaul and test aircraft engines, modules, and components. MTU Canada is a North American member of the MTU Maintenance networks of companies, one of the largest provider of independent commercial engine services worldwide. The Canadian operations base serves in two locations in Delta and Richmond, British Columbia.

The Delta operations facility holds OEM technical data licenses required to maintain, repair and overhaul GE, IAE and CFMI engines: CF6-80, CFM56-2/3/7, F108, F138 and V2500 as well as a variety of other OEM licenses to perform MRO services on engine accessories for these and several other engine types. In 2022, MTU provided maintenance for V2500 and CF6-80 operators and owners and for the F108 and the F138 under USAF contracts.
