Maintenance Supervisor
About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with a valid Millwright License to lead and support maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment in Hamilton, ON location.
Pay
- 45/hr

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, providing ongoing guidance, training, and technical support
- Work closely with production and operations to plan and schedule maintenance during planned downtime
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
- Perform routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential equipment failures
- Plan and carry out maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades, modifications, and replacements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies
- Work closely with production to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Order parts, manage inventory, and coordinate with external vendors and contractors
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reports
Qualifications
- Valid Millwright License (433A or equivalent)
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, welding)
- Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and production-driven maintenance
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety-first mindset
