Responsibilities
Enter, verify, and update data into various computer systems or databases.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular checks and audits.
Review and correct any discrepancies or errors in the data.
Organize and manage files, forms, and other documentation to ensure data is easily accessible.
Perform data clean-up tasks such as removing duplicate entries or correcting data inconsistencies.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Ensure timely completion of data entry tasks to meet project or business deadlines.
Collaborate with other departments to gather information and clarify data discrepancies.
Follow company protocols and data entry guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate input.
Requirements
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in typing with a high typing speed (e.g., 40-60 words per minute or higher).
Strong knowledge of data entry software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or specialized databases).
Ability to manage and organize large volumes of information.
Good communication skills for clarifying data inconsistencies with team members.
Basic understanding of data confidentiality and security practices.
Experience in data entry, office administration, or clerical roles (preferred but not always required).
Strong time management and organizational skills.
