Role Description:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager, Ontario Projects and Partnerships leads the planning, promotion, and delivery of provincial programs, events, and partnership initiatives in Ontario. The role includes project coordination, event logistics, budget management, stakeholder relations, and collaboration with colleagues across the CPF Network.
The Manager’s main responsibilities are:
- Plan and deliver provincial programs, events, and presentations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Build relationships with partners, vendors, presenters, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate venues, contracts, and promotional materials.
- Support network-wide initiatives and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Core Competencies:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Post-secondary education in project management, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management, partnerships, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Additional Criteria
- Candidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada.
- Knowledge of Ontario’s education environment and FSL programming.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector or member-driven organizations.
- Supports promoting learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada.
