The Opportunity:
- Deliver high quality physical literacy, recreation and active living classes to our customers, specifically children and youth
- Motivate and inspire confidence in participants
You Bring:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Post Secondary education in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Physical Literacy or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR C and AED required (upload copies of certification with online application)
- Experience and demonstrated skills teaching youth physical literacy-based programming
- Must enjoy working with children and youth
- Current certification in High Five, Canadian Sport 4 Life, NCCP considered an asset
- Experience coaching youth athletics considered an asset
- Experience working in inclusive programming for children with varying abilities is considered an asset
- Flexible work schedule, which may include Fridays (9AM-3PM), evenings and/or weekends
- Proven background in providing exceptional customer service
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Mature and reliable

Additional Information:
This competition is for part time (casual) Recreation Group instructors for Friday, evening, and weekend classes. Hours of work are not guaranteed.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a current, acceptable Criminal Records Check, including Vulnerable Sector, upon hire.
