About the role
Job Title: Databricks Administrator
Location: Toronto, ON – Remote Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire Strong hands-on experience with Databricks administration, platform setup, configuration, and optimization. Solid experience in Data Engineering using AWS services (S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.). Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Experience with Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Scala for data engineering and automation. Good understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and performance optimization. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering teams
