What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll run full-cycle recruiting across the whole organization — tech, product, operations, corporate — with a real emphasis on finding and closing technical talent. But this role is so much more than filling reqs.
  • You'll be building the TA function from the ground up alongside the day-to-day work — designing the structured interview processes and scorecards that create consistency across our portfolio, writing our hiring playbook from scratch, and coaching hiring managers to interview well and make fast, good decisions.
  • You'll build talent pipelines so we're never starting cold when a role opens, track the metrics that actually matter — time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance — and use that data to get sharper every week. And you'll help us tell the myAbode story in a way that makes top candidates genuinely excited to join us.

What We're Looking For

You've got 4–6 years of full-cycle recruiting under your belt, with serious tech recruiting chops — you've hired engineers and product managers and you know what great looks like. But more than that, you've built things before. Processes, frameworks, pipelines — not just executed someone else's playbook.

  • You source proactively and creatively because you know the best people aren't always the ones who applied. You can push back on a hiring manager, hold the standard, and still be someone people genuinely enjoy working with.
  • You write clearly and communicate well — that matters a ton in an environment where we're intentional about how we spend our time together.
  • You're energized by ambiguity and ownership. You don't need everything figured out before you get started — in fact, you're at your best when you're the one doing the figuring. If you've thrived in a high-growth or multi-entity environment before, even better.

This is a rare one. You'll have real ownership over how a growing company hires — not just a slice of it. You'll work closely with the VP of People & Culture, have direct visibility with leadership, and see the impact of your work every single day.

Your goals will be clear, your progress will be visible, and what you build here will last. This isn't a role where you'll be maintaining someone else's system six months in — you'll still be building it, evolving it, and making it better. We move fast, we hold a high bar, and we are genuinely stoked about what we're building.

Compensation

We believe the people who help us build something great should be rewarded for the impact they have. The salary range for this role is $85,000 – $115,000 CAD. Your placement within this range is based on your experience, the skills you bring, and the scope of impact you're ready to deliver from day one.
