About the role

The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating agile processes and ensuring effective collaboration and communication within and across teams. In this role, you will guide two teams to deliver high-quality products while fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

What you’ll do here :

  • Serve both agile teams as a mentor and coach by embodying agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with product owners to ensure that the product backlogs are well defined, prioritized, and maintained.
  • Shield the teams from external interference to enable optimal productivity and focus.
  • Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
  • Promote a culture of openness, transparency, and accountability across teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement processes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Leaders to improve cross-team communication and processes.
  • Track, monitor, and report on team performance and project progress.
  • Assist with the identification and facilitation of training needs to develop team members’ skills and competencies.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, computer science, management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Very good knowledge of Agile.
  • Good knowledge of Jira.
  • Agile certification, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, an asset.
  • Knowledge of GitHub, an asset.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
