Job Description
Within the Urban Infrastructure team, as a Team lead:
Your responsibilities
-
Manage a team of engineers and technicians and implement methods and procedures in accordance with corporate standards;
-
Collaborate with other Urban Infrastructure managers to ensure effective project team coordination;
-
Maintain client relationships in order to achieve the company’s financial objectives;
-
Analyze client requirements in order to prepare competitive service proposals;
-
Ensure the quality of services delivered in line with client needs;
-
Lead projects from proposal preparation through to project delivery;
-
Supervise all municipal infrastructure activities across the sector’s projects;
-
Ensure compliance with budgets and schedules for all projects;
-
Provide technical guidance to the Infrastructure team regarding standards, codes, methods, and best practices related to plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
-
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) (an asset);
-
Minimum of 15 years of experience in municipal infrastructure;
-
Experience in the design and supervision of infrastructure construction projects;
-
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software (an asset);
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.);
-
Knowledge of the following software: PCSWMM (an asset);
-
Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and good team spirit;
-
Proficiency in English (French an asset).
